LIMS Customization and Data Migration Capabilities

Client

A global, public pharmaceutical company seeking to use a commercial LIMS to manage a variety of immunology experimental data.

Problem

The client needed to convert and migrate legacy data and reports from a commercial LIMS systems and a legacy file/data management system into a commercial LIMS system, along with improvements to the system’s user interface.

Solution

Virtify is currently creating and validating custom scripts to extract and convert data from current legacy databases/applications and move the data into an Oracle database. In addition, we are also customizing the front-end functionality of the existing BLAZE LIMS system to provide enhanced reporting (via Crystal Reports). Such enhanced functionality is aimed at streamlining the data capture, aggregation, analysis and reporting of tissue and sample data with the client’s laboratories.
